National Examining Board Certificate in Dental Radiography

In March 2012, Kent,Surrey and Sussex Deanery will for the seventh time, be delivering a training programme for registered Dental Care Professionals. This will lead to the National Examining Board’s Certificate in Dental Radiography.
The course is designed to prepare you for the NEBDN’s Post-Registration Qualification in Dental Radiography examination to be held on 01st December 2012.
The course will involve using a combination of distance and classroom learning methods. In addition to this the Deanery are offering full support from a Dental Nurse Tutor who already holds this qualification.The tutor will help steer you through your own ‘Record of Experience’ which is a portfolio of evidence necessary for completion of the qualification. The purpose of the ‘Record of Experience’ is for you to gain practical experience and competency in dental radiography techniques in your workplace. The theoretical aspect of this course will be obtained by using the distance learning method (BDA’s on-line theory course). Using both these methods together will enable you to enjoy the benefits of studying at home with five days in the classroom.
Due to the format of the course, you will require regular access to a computer and an email account.
