Aims
General
± ³Integrate a strategy and policy for simulation through out all specialty training programmes´
Specific
± Develop a framework through which simulation is mapped to the FY2 curriculum and delivered to a consistent high quality through out KSS
Targets
Review 2010 FY2 curriculum Undertake FY2 simulation pilot project Contact all trusts within KSS to identify what (if any) other FY2 simulation is currently being delivered by August 2011 Identify what FY2 doctors themselves want from simulation by contacting FY2 representatives in each trust by August 2011 Identify and make contact with simulation lead at UKFP Office Complete ³work in progress´ poster at KSS simulation conference May 2011 Key event dates: ± 26th November 2010 ± Action Plan submission ± 3rd February ± SSL meeting ± 12/13th May ± Deanery Conference ³work in progress´ posters ± 11th July ± reflection and review initiative ± 22 July ± Submit annual review report
