We are excited to be introducing the KSS Deanery MMV/ID Higher Specialty Trianing Programme from October 2011. The rotations include posts from Hospitals across the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Region. The Training Programme Director and members of the Specialty Training Committee (STC) will identify the needs of each trainee and endeavor to match them to posts that will best meet these needs and ensure a broad exposure to MMV/ID.

The new KSS programme is being built around a curriculum-mapped aproach and the STC is currently working on a MMV/ID Specialty Training Day Programme.

Trainees will be provided with a dual-accreditation in Medical Microbiology as well as Infectious Diseases.
