Ophthalmology Training Days 2012

Clinical Leadership Day: Tuesday 3rd July 2012

This Clinical Leadership day is a joint initiative between KSS Specialty Schools and KSS School of Clinical Leadership.  This day is focused on increasing your awareness, as trainees, of the crucial role that clinical leadership plays in improving patient care.  It also provides opportunities for trainees to reflect on how they can develop their own leadership skills and knowledge.

Regional Training Days;

South West – Run 11 Regional Training Day’s – these run well and are cohesive with equitable participation from both KSS and London consultants.  Trainees are released for training days and all are expected to attend.

South East  – Run 4 Regional Training Day’s – these are run at King’s / St Thomas’s / Brighton / Hastings, it was noted that they have fewer teaching days due to weekly teaching half days.

Agreement that KSS trainees should continue to access RTD’s and there will be no cross charging for KSS trainees to attend RTD’s.
