We are excited to be introducing the KSS Deanery Respiratory Medicine Higher Specialty Training programme from October 2011. The rotations include posts from Hospitals across the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Region. The Training Programme Director and members of the Specialty Training Committee (STC) will identify the needs of each trainee and endeavor to match them to posts that will best meet these needs and ensure a broad exposure to Respiratory Medicine.
The new KSS programme is being built around a curriculum-mapped approach and the STC is currently working on a Respiratory Medicine Specialty training day programme.
A key feature of the KSS Programme is that it will provide trainees with a dual-accreditation in Respiratory Medicine as well as General (Internal) Medicine and will produce highly qualified and very competitive CCT holders.
