SAS Leads/ Tutors’ educational appraisal
I would encourage all SAS tutors and leads to organize their educational appraisal with their Director of Medical Education
Linked-in site for SAS doctors
I have developed a linked-in site for SAS tutors which I am trying to expand and involve all SAS doctors. The hope is that all SAS doctors would be able to network through this site and share best practice and resolve issues which have been resolved elsewhere already. If you want to be a member of this group please e mail me on dashora@hotmail.com
LFG for SAS doctors
I would encourage all SAS tutors to form a local faculty group in their trust. I suggest the membership to include SAS tutor, Director of Medical Education, Representative of Medical Education Manager and Representative of SAS doctors. I suggest Clinical supervisors of SAS doctors can be invited if they have any concerns or suggestions about their SAS doctors.
KSS deanery website for SAS doctors
KSS deanery website has been enhanced to include useful information about SAS doctors. Look in Speciality section or search using term ‘SAS doctors’. There would be regular update as news items on the website for new regional courses under the section of News.

Watch the space
More generic regional courses are going to be organized from November onwards at the Royal College of Physicians of London. Look out for dates on the deanery website, linked-in site or RCP site.
